The theatre always feels like home. For almost 3 decades I've been involved in the recording, broadcast and livestream of opera, ballet and classical music concerts. Working in the houses of Dutch National Opera and Ballet, Nederlands Dans Theater and The Royal Concertgebouw orchestra is always a privilege to me.

Image quality is key. As a vision engineer my aim is to make the best transition from stage lighting to a camera image, being loyal and honest to the intention of the creator of the art form.

When it comes to photography, telling the story in a single or several frames using existing light as a creative tool is defenitiely what I like most.
